Massachusetts Community University Has Cannabis Training Scholarships

Massachusetts’ Holyoke Community university Cannabis Education Center is providing scholarships to pupils whom join its core cannabis program that is training which runs March 20 and 21. The program costs $595 but qualified individuals could have the cost that is full by the college’s partner, cannabis company Elevate Northeast.

Cara Crabb-Burnham, Elevate Northeast’s director and co-founder of education, said the scholarships are targeted primarily at students from communities negatively impacted by drug laws that preceded cannabis legalization in the state. The scholarships are funded by cannabusiness donations.

“The goal of the Northeast that is elevate Scholarship is to aid future cannabis employees and entrepreneurs experience real-world training and training which will bolster their capability to make viable jobs within the cannabis industry. Through this scholarship system we desire to attract pupils towards the cannabis industry who’ve a desire for cannabis and desire to guarantee the cannabis room is diverse, equitable, and reasonable.” – Crabb-Burnham in a statement
